El protagonista de este disco es el Erhu interpretado por el ya conocido Jia Peng Fang y la joven Hiroko Kuwakino, acompañados por piano, sintetizador, flauta, guitarras acústicas y percusión en un estilo de música en su mayor parte nuevo. Música compuesta y arreglada por Yoshihiko Sano, un album de canciones brillantes y luminosas.

I have performed the Erhu in a variety of albums starting with "River" and in albums such as "Rainbow" and "Faraway". In this album, I wanted to express the worlds of Asia other than China through the Erhu. I challenged areas in technique and rhythm that I had never experienced before. When I received the scores from the two composers, the range was much broader and higher than my previous performances and I wondered to what degree I would be able to express myself. Now I feel the thoughts and wishes of the composers and the performer resonate very pleasantly. I fully appreciate that the two composers Mr. Toshiyuki Watanabe and Mr. Haruki Mino kindly offered to use their wonderful talents on the Erhu.
In the piece that I myself composed, I followed the memories of my heart. Sometimes it's possible to see where you are at a certain point because you are looking from somewhere else. The scenes that I could see were those of my early childhood years, in the extreme cold land where I continued to play the Erhu. What thought was on my father's mind when we moved to the new barren land, the warm smiles of my friends during my junior high school days... There is me, myself who grew up in this homeland and me now as I work, centering my activities in Japan.
It was because of the anxieties about the unknown future that I was able to work so hard till today. You don't know what will happen till you try something. If you get caught up in what's front of you, you can lose sight of what is what. If you keep climbing that mountain with hope in your heart, there will always be a moment of brilliance when you can really see. I put these brilliant moments into this album. What makes me feel truly happy now is the moment when the song in my heart reaches deeply into the listeners heart through the Erhu. I have the best audience and the best composers in Japan. La estrella del álbum es el erhu "Niko", uno de los instrumentos de cuerda tradicional de China. Hay muchos instrumentos en la categoría absoluta que se tocan con el arco rozando el instrumento es cuando se producen los sonidos, como el "batokin" Mongol, hegum " de la península de Corea y muchos otros de Asia.
Se dice que los instrumentos se utilizaron inicialmente para imitar la voz humana. Si esto es así, Niko es el instrumento perfecto para expresar las melodías del continente asiático en los tonos de este continente. Desde el más bajo hasta el más alto, los tonos se extienden expansivamente y evocan en la mente del oyente, las imágenes del cielo teñido de color rojo y el verde de los campos del continente asiático.
De las canciones contenidas en el álbum, sólo la sexta y la novena pieza son puros clásicos chinos, que son, YUEYA WUGENG "y YUYEYE" y el resto son todas las obras originales creadas para este álbum. Y a pesar de la abundancia de armonías occidentales e instrumentos tales como piano y guitarra, los sonidos producidos por Niko mantiene la suave y dulce melancolía tonal de Oriente y expresan la gran apertura de la vida pastoral en el continente asiático.
La otra estrella del álbum, Jia Peng Fang-, Maestro del Niko representante de China, o más bien de Asia, como puede observarse en el perfil y tal vez es su suave dulce carácter se refleja en los resultados que nos hacen sentir en paz con nosotros mismos.
También Seiichi Kyoda que estaba a cargo de los arreglos musicales de todas las piezas en el álbum y compuso seis con Jia y que han hecho un gran equipo juntos. Seiichi también pudo hacer una conexión natural con el instrumento de Niko, por lo que fue posible para él crear la melodía perfecta la composición y los arreglos para este trabajo.
Esto, a su vez, hizo la música más accesible para nosotros, que tenemos mas posibilidades de audiencia cada vez con un instrumento de este tipo.
